Apart from just physiological symptoms, a person dealing with anxiety experiences various psychological, emotional and mental issues, which are all the more devastating and dangerous.

- Feeling compelled to limit the amount of one’s daily activities to reduce the overall level of anxiety. e.g.: remaining in house to be safe
- Becoming obsessive about a safer place or a person you feel safe with. e.g.: not going out of the house, away from home, to school, to work in order to avoid separation
Emotional symptoms of anxiety
Anxiety in its most basic form is an emotion.
- Feeling overwhelmed
- Fear or terror
- Jumpiness or edginess
The emotional aspects of anxiety are all the more distressing as one cannot define the feeling and hence it is left unheard and that is what builds up in a person who’s suffering from anxiety, and that persons tends to be greatly disturbed by the thoughts, and hence daily life activities become Challenging to them.
Cognitive symptoms of anxiety
Cognitive symptoms are quite common while we’re anxious and hence can be referred to the thoughts that a person experience. Some of the thoughts that makes a person lethargic are :-

- ” People will make fun of me”

The person dealing with anxiety tends to overestimate the amount of threat in a given situation.

- Difficulty completing the tasks
- Extremely worrisome thoughts
- Threats that delays the work
- Thinking about future, rather than staying in present
- Difficulty in memorizing
- Learning disability
- Depressive symptoms such a hopelessness and lethargy
- Poor appetite
